Education and Experience
University Degree/Technical Diploma in Computer Science or other technical discipline.
Strong SQL developer skills.
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing complex, enterprise reports and dashboards.
Experience with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One is an asset.
Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and/or IBM Cognos is an asset.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, including star schema, dimensions and fact tables.
Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of relational database concepts, usage and design.
Knowledgeable in BI and Data Mining.
Strong knowledge in testing all aspects of a business intelligence system: dimensional modeling, security, reporting and user acceptance.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise.
Must be a strong team member and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional image with ability to form good partner relationships across functions.
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products 2010 or higher.
Knowledge of Microsoft Visio.

PURPOSE and SCOPE
As an integral member of our delivery team, the Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports. You will be responsible for analyzing business data and developing business intelligence solutions to meet business needs and consulting with the larger team on solution designs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with stakeholders, process specialists and users to elicit and document business requirements.
Translate requirements into effective logical and physical designs using dimensional modeling techniques.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and workflows.
Design, develop, implement and support enterprise reporting solutions and provide ad-hoc data analysis.
Design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and analytical tools.
Conduct and/or support testing activities, as appropriate, throughout the lifecycle of the business intelligence systems.
Support end users in application usage and administration through consultation, training and documentation as needed.
Stay current on new and emerging technologies.
